It happens due to acid leaks that go upward from the esophagus to the stomach. Indigestion has

acid.
Indigestion happens because of less mucus production that lines the stomach, which can deeply

magnesium or aluminums that can relieve the signs of heartburn and indigestion through neutralizing the acids in
the stomach. Most pharmacists prescribe H2 blocker if antacids do not work. H2 blocker reduces the acid
production of the stomach.
Indigestion and heartburn are not
considered to be dangerous to health but people who experience the symptoms of indigestion and heartburn are
annoyed and may suffer discomfort. For pregnant women, heartburn and indigestion must be treated carefully to
prevent adverse effect to the unborn child. Fortunately, with the proper treatment and change in eating habits,
most of pregnant women can get good relief.
In some
cases that lifestyle changes and medications do not help in controlling heartburn and indigestion, surgery is
recommended as an option. In addition, surgery is necessary for severe damage in the esophagus or for other
complications. Though surgery can help in most cases, its long-term effectiveness is still uncertain. It is best
to have an experienced surgeon to perform the procedure to avoid any complications rather than thrash about
