drugs. There are easy ways for one to lessen acid reflux triggered by the existence inside the cavity of your
abdomen. The following are some of these ways:
· Chew gum. The saliva created here helps in neutralizing stomach acid.
· Avoid tight clothes. As a pregnant woman, you need to let your stomach be free in a loose but
supportive material. Also, choose breathable materials. There are times when clothing
materials.
· Have a number of smaller servings of food. Instead of eating two full plates of food for lunch
for example, try having a brunch or light snack a few hours after lunch. Smaller meals will not make your
stomach overflow, thus acid will not be forced into the gullet.
· Avoid having your meals late. Have your dinner three full hours at the very least before bed.
Someone who’s satiated should not be lying down as this will make the acid go back up the esophagus.
· When this is unavoidable make sure your head is raised four to six inches above the
bed.
· Avoid soft drinks and drinks high in caffeine as much as possible. First, this goes without

heartburn.
